Subjects (at uni) just have widldly varying effort and understanding requirements, tempos. My classical “Machine learning” course was way chiller/less rigorous than “Mathematics of data”.
Still deciding on my subject split, but will go for mathy and intense probably, to cure my impostor syndrome here.
The implication is that people can have quite different experiences, and knowledge from the same
faculty. Depends on decisions.
Had wine tasting today! Don’t like wine; like the format where we’re with a single group and do stuff for like 3-5 hours together, that’s how I get to meet people more than just mingling before/after events. Met a (probable) friend :)

I’m very tired and need lots of rest. Env change & meeting people & prevous sleep debt togeher hit hard.
It’s important to “host” events i.e. be the initiator and thene mix and match people I like into groups and go with them. Will use helper elves (Claude&OpenAI) to find me some events and festivals, starting with live jazz.
