Had first lecture @ EPFL (Mathematics of data). Was intimidateed by the lightning speed, would be quite lost if i didn’t know lots of connections between concepts before.
- Teacher does well: speaks slowly, calmly, lots of jokes while lecturing. Theory -> examples.
- Done poorly: overexplaining simple things and intuitions, less explaining of how theory flows, connections and moving technical parts. Rushed the notation as well.
- Feel quite heavy impostor syndrome and need to brush up linear algebra and probabilty. LLM tutoring should help me close gaps.

- You have to pick songs all people know or are at least fast paced, no balads on the party.
